Thank you so much for this! I was diagnosed with LPP last April and have also been through emotional ups and downs - mostly downs, the more I researched it. I did many rounds of steroid injections and applied foam to my scalp, etc., and while the active flareups have stopped, I am left with bald spots on my temples which everyone tells you will NOT EVER grow hair again. I have been considering PRP but don't want to throw money away.... so thanks for sharing your results. And congrats, these…

Hi Cyclek,

This is Marco, originally from Rome, Italy. I've recently been diagnosed with LPP, and I'm fighting this disease as hard as I can. I just can't give in to the idea of having all my hair fall off. I came across your post, I saw your pictures, I read about your experience with the PRP, and I must say they're EXTREMELY encouraging. I'd like to ask you some questions. Is the hair you were able to regrow holding up? No trace of disease since it went into remission?…

Thank you so much!!! This is great hope for people like us who are still battling this horrible condition.
Lichen Planopilaris

Just joined after your posting came up on a google search - thank you. I suspect I have lpp for 2 years after a botched scalp biopsy (minimal hair loss for one year prior after bad hrt.) I am in NWA - Northwest Arkansas - where I haven't found any dr's that really know hair loss or prp (one doctor said I had OCD after I complained that I was losing 400 hair a day for several months because I counted and documented.) I love DonovanMedical.com and have learned a ton from that site, but I…

Where did you go - and do you have your research paper published online?
