Just looking for some feedback on these wigs.

They seem pretty reasonably priced.

Thank you!

See chrisforhair's post on wigsbuy.com...or contact her to ask her findings. I, too, am interested in these wigs, Aimee. Mostly because the price is reasonable for a first HH wig to try.

Noticed this post, and have looked into both companies long ago.

Awhile back I posted that I had concerns about running out of human hair because the demand is now so high and someone else said that was silly, as long as there are people in the world there will be hair. Well, that prompted me to thoroughly research the human hair industry and what I learned was not pretty. I can't go into all the details here but there is an ugly underbelly in the human hair market and in fact it is now VERY difficult to secure true quality human hair and that which IS available is very expensive and mostly goes to the entertainment industry.
What this means in regard to this post is that any human hair wig promoted at "reasonable" prices is either loaded with chemicals that can cause serious health issues, or is in fact animal hair that has been processed to respond like human hair. Horse tail hair is very similar in structure to human hair. They are taking this hair and stripping off several cuticle layers and calling it human. There are many other stories I have seen that are much worse.
To me this quest for human hair has become ridiculous. The synthetics have improved greatly, not talking about the fashion synthetic, but there are good prosthetic synthetics that even I can not tell are not real hair. I would much rather save my money, buy 10 wigs that are synthetic than wear my horses tail on my head!
Sorry to be so abrupt, but I have been watching this trend for a long time and I think it is time for the public to be aware that what they think they are buying may in fact not be true. People have now been killed in the quest to secure good human hair, somehow this needs to change.

Getting back to the topic of Milano and Fortune. I have bought Milano. Some of their wigs are EHH and some are processed EHH. The ones I have are short and fabulous-have lasted a long time, but I think you wear long hair, so can't comment on their long hair wigs. Many people have been pleased with Fortune wigs. Look at wigsupport.com and search for Fortune wigs.

Hi

Nice to know these wigs are working well for you Cathy. I'm sure your input will be very useful for Aimee.

Chris for hair

I want to clear up some of the information you have passed on. It sounds like you are really talking about processed human hair. I don't know about animal hair being used in processed human hair wigs but feel sure you wouldn't have written this unless you had some strong evidence around it. I think that in some situations a cheaper processed hair wig is a good option. Budget for many people is the key and while synthetic wigs may be more improved I feel they still have a way to go to achieve an absolutely realistic outcome for the wearer. My personal view is neither hit the spot, but many would disagree with me. Just my opinion.

I'm not going to write about the hair of choice I prefer as I have covered this on numerous occasions. In my opinion the only hair that looks absolutely realistic is 100% unprocessed virgin human hair. But even this hair in the hands of the unskilled can become a terrible wig. So, keep investigating.

Good luck Aimee if you decide to try the Milano or Fortune wig, I hope it is a sucessful choice for you.

Rosy

After paying over $200 for an ill-fitting, stitched-row synthetic petite wig for a while, I decided to gamble $200 on a custom fitted Indian Remy wig from a Chinese vendor. I will never go back. My friends used to say, "that's a nice wig." Now they just say, "Your hair looks fabulous!" And it feels fabulous, too!

Is wigsbuy legit? I jist ordered there and freaking out!

Stacy, it would be better to start a new thread. Hard to find your question at the end of a thread about 2 other companies. Maybe some one will have experience with wigsbuy.
