Glad that your had a good experience, but I cant say the same for myself. The owner was very friendly and professional as well as staff. I was a bit unclear of the price when I went for the first time. I did end up paying about $2700. I am an african american women and I opted for what they call textured hair and it was terrible. The hair would start to clump up within an hour of combing it. I started to complain and they initially seemed to be trying to help me. I came in several times and they added the european hair to mine and it would seem to look good while I was there then by the time I would make it home the hair would start to do the same thing. I also had several small holes in my net. After complaining so many times they finally decided to give me a new wig which is not the texture I would have liked to have but anything would be better at this point. This whole time now I am no longer dealing with the very nice owner but the not so nice daughter. I now have this european textured wig which they are now trying to add "textured hair" to in order to make it look close to my hair texture. I made several trips there which cost me lots of time and money. I have now had this wig for about 6months now and the front of my net has ripped. The hair itself doesnt shed. I recently left a message for them and did not a a return phone call. I feel that the price is way to expensive, I am seeing a lot of similar products for alot less. Its very obvious that it is a wig. It does not look as natural as they claim, at least for me. Its not terrible but definetly not worth the price!
Hi Beth,
You may also want to look at IWigs by Erica from Brooklyn. They are beautifully made using human hair either processed (colored) or non-processed (no color, natural). Their prices are fabulous for the quality of the wigs. The website is iwig.com. They made all hand-tied or wefted wigs depending on what your needs are & your budget. Check them out - I think you'll be impressed. Good luck,
Rose
The wig I'm wearing in the Today Show filming is from iwig. See many photos of this wig in the photo gallery at our main site here:

Tell Erica or Sandy that you know Thea from Bald Girls when you call for info. We will be running another discount special with them again, but even while we are between specials, do tell them you are referred from us. The value for the quality of hair and workmanship and customer service is very high. We're very impressed with the level of care and interest that Erica continues to have for women with alopecia.Do you have feedback? let me know as I talk to Erica and update her on the needs of the alopecia wearers.

fyi -be sure to ask for what you need....their website does not give you the full picture of their capability.
