I started losing hair as a teen and it can get quite thin at times. I got tired of trying to cover the bald spots. I'm thinnest on the top, crown and bang area. What's frustrating is I have very curly hair and now that it is thin it turns into a fuzzy mass. I have been trying to find curly wigs that look natural. They lose the curl quickly and I look horrible in straight hair. Anyways I found a human hair topper that I can pull my hair through or not. I cut my natural hair short and curl the topper. I don't know whats worse trying to curl the thing or wearing an unnatural looking unflattering synthetic one. I'm happy with my new look but wish it was a bit thinner but am afraid to thin it out. Wish this was easier. Finding natural looking curly wigs that are fashionable is very hard. They tend to look like an older person would wear it. I'm 50 but don't want to look like an old lady. I guess I'm just complaining. But if anyone has curly hair and has suggestions for wigs I would appreiate it. Thanks

ever think of maybe trying an Ethnic or African American wig? They are usually so much cheaper, as well. You would not be out a bunch of money if it didn't work out. Just a suggestion

Girl, I know the feeling! I had to do my research bc it's hard finding wigs that look natural! And I'm 36 and bald! I lost all of my hair!!! I wear curly and straight but they are all human hair! When you get a curly hair wig you have to buy curling products to put on your wig! Just let me know and I will tell you some of the places I go! And this store they fit them for you and teach you how to maintain your wigs! They really helped me with my self esteem.

I have tried African American wigs and they are just a little too curly but close. I keep looking. Has anyone every tried to perm their human hair wig? Would like to try and perm the wiglet I would rather than trying to curl it with a curling iron every day and then using products to keep them in. Just worried to try it??? I live in Canada so if you have online suggestions that would be wonderful. Thanks for your replies.

Some HH wigs and pieces can be permed but you have to start with virgin hair and know when the test curl is right. Even on a person's real hair color and perm do not mix well, it always results in dried out hair. So I would not try it unless you know the hair is virgin.

The wigs are nice.I like it,too. But I like hair extensions more, because it looks more natural, and it is easy to put on.I like clip in most. There are many kinds for you to choose.

Hi, if you do not like wigs anymore, or just want to change, you could try hair extensions. You are doing great and hope you have a nice hair extensions experience!
