I don't know if its androgenetic alopecia or my diet, lack of exercise and lack of hair care thats responsible for my hair loss :/

Okay, I talked to my moms hair dresser not too long ago...and I told her about my massive hair shed and she said...our hair sheds 100 strands a day, she asked me when my last trim was...I told her I did it myself and she said I need the trim professionally done. And that I need a deep condition....So I'm going to give it a shot..because that could be the reason why I'm losing hair.

I'm just nervous, because if it isn't..then I know its Alopecia...also I didn't know if you didn't trim split ends that it could travel to the root and break off....

Also when I think about my diet, I eat crap food 24/7 and I don't work out at all..

So I just wonder if this ,all of this. Is causing all my hair loss...

I'm so nervous for the appointment because I don't want to lose more hair., why is my hair so complicated. :(

I think it is important to get a blood panel to see if there is any biological reason you could be losing hair. That is the first thing you should do. Eating habits can be a reason you have hair issues but usually not the be all and end all. The blood work will tell. Also a dem. doctor can take a look at your scalp and maybe come up with a diagnosis. Hair dressers are know to see things in their customers hair but they are not trained professionals as your doctor. Get into a doctor office and let them help you.

How much does it cost to see a derm? Also one youtuber gave me hope...she also has androgenetic alopecia and she has been on vitamins and her hair grew... So I'm gonna try that too...bc I don't know what is wrong with me yet, could be low iron idk. Also, I'm not going to the hair dresser... I feel if you don't know that there's more than 1 type of alopecia and you think split ends make your hair fall out..then maybe I shouldn't go.. So I'm not...I just know split ends aren't the problem bc when I was young my mom never cut my hair and it still grew.....So we Will see what's up.
