Hello everyone...

Hi everyone! I'm Kristy& I've been loosing my hair for 4year now... My doctor would always tell me I was pulling it out myself or it was because I had so many children back to back.. I JUST recently got a referral out to a dermatologist but my hair is so gone now that I am just preparing myself to shave it off... I'm tired of trying to hide it& the patches are all over my head with one big spot in the back... I'm having a really hard time accepting that my hair is gone and not sure if it will return.... My hair is literally 75-80% gone and I am so torn on what to do.. Any input would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you.. <3

I only had 10% of hair left and shaved it on christmas eve 2019...i have no body hair left but some eyebrow hair that is coming back white..kinda cool!...Everyone is differant but yes i was upset but it also was freeing.. I was more upset looking in mirror seeing only what i had left if that makes sense..I have a lot of bandannas but got up nerve to just be bald when it got to hot...Do I miss my hair and think of wigs? yes..But do I want eyebrows inked on? nope..I am 52 and some days just do not care what others think...I understand what you are going through and it is a process only you can own and go through.. but just know you are not alone..I got $10 clippers at the dollar store and just did it...I wish you luck but I will tell you that it made me feel more in control of the whole messed up situation..

 Hi Kristy, I was absolutely in the same position with my daughter at the age of 12. She progressed to Alopecia Totalis and I was at a loss.
