Hi,

I love and adore my freedom piece. It's a little over a year old now. I am very active and do dance and fitness so I know that I am using my wig in ways normal people wouldn't. I had one patch of hair that was where my center part met at the top center and now I am noticing more patches through out the wig. I feel like ever since that single patch I've taken much better care. I am wondering why patches keep showing up and what I can do better to keep my new freedom i just ordered from wearing out this fast.

Also, I heard repairs can be about $2000, I am thinking with all my patches it may be more money and it's not even worth fixing but getting a new one completely. Anyone else having this issue, or has anyone else done the repair part and have an experiences to share?

Thanks!

katie

You should contact the rep you purchased from.

I'm wearing my first Freedom Hair 16" purchased in December 2014. I'm pretty careful with it, but I found because I have a center part with no fringe, it's a problem area for me.

Good luck!

I've owned several vacuum pieces, the last three being FREEDOM. I have NEVER had any hair loss in my pieces. The inside silicone wore out before any hair loss. I would talk to your rep... sounds to me like you got a "lemon" --- on the other hand, I treat mine like royalty. NO dance and fitness in my FREEDOM piece. Still... it sounds like you are experiencing way way more than natural wear and tear. Hope they fix it for you, at a reasonable price. I've never sent any in for repair so can't speak to repair costs.

Hi Katie! I thought I'd reply to you to offer any help that I can. I help folks with Freedom pieces but noticed you live in California and I'm down in Texas.  I would recommend that you contact Donna Schillaci as she currently takes care of the West Coast for us and discuss what could be happening as this really isn’t the norm with a Freedom Wig. Feel free to reach out to me directly too!

I got in contact with my rep!! I am going to be getting it repaired:)
