Hi, Your post does not give enough information. How thin is the top of your hair? Do you still have a fairly good hairline? Do you wear bangs or show your hairline? Are you looking for human hair or synthetic? There are many topper that may work, but extensions will not work on the top. Some people can get by with a small piece like the EasyPart by Jon Renau. It comes in both human and synthetic. For others a full topper is needed. There are hundreds of variables to consider.

I know this is not much help, but recommending something without having all the necessary information is irresponsible I think.

Extensions will not solve your porblem. A hair piece can work...

If you are looking for quality you should look for human hair. How much are you willing to spend?

Hi Chris and  Alicia ,

Thanks for your reply. I am willing to spend around 150 to 200. No , I never used bangs. I was  just using  toppik  and extension on my back for volume . but toppik  its not helping any more for my front.. Yes , you are right I need small piece for my front. Any good quality recommendation will be helpful.

Thanks gain

Mellisa

For a small piece I really like Jon Renau Easy Part. it is only 2"x3", comes in 2 different lengths, both human and synthetic. Keep in mind that the synthetic can not be dyed to match your hair, but the human can be dyed with demi color +10 vol. peroxide, not traditional dye.It can be cut into bangs if you want, or left long. They actually have several pieces. There may be another that will work better for you. You may still need a bit of Toppic to blend the piece in front with your existing hair but not nearly as much. I think too much Toppik looks like dirt, but a tiny amount to blend hair pieces with natural hair is good.

I am sure there are others out there for you but beware, many people tend to push people like you into heavy toppers that are just too much to deal with at first. Good luck, any more ?? just ask

Hi Chris ,

Thanks for all helpful information. I was not aware about synthetic hair cant  be dyed.  Yes , I agree with you I need a small piece not heavy . I checked there site . I want to make sure about size before I will order. The good thing is they are return able. To be honest before I diagnosis with alopecia I used very cheap once extensions from Amazon. I did not need them but just for volume for my back. But , now I really need to cover my front.

Thanks again and happy holidays
