Was curious if anyone here had read the book Shine, Shine, Shine by Lydia Netzer, where the main character was a bald woman.

I was excited to read a novel about a bald wife and mother, but I didn't think the author captures it right, somehow.

I also felt the "point" -- although I could totally be wrong -- was that it wrong, foolish, and superficial of her to wear a wig.

Anyone else read it? Any comments?
