Can someone tell me what type of cap this is? How well does it hold up to clips sewn into it? I bought this wig without thinking about how well it will hold up to daily clipping and unclipping to whatever is left to my bio hair...it does not look as sturdy as my lace wig. Anyone had experience with this cap construction?

Maybe it's a silk top with a thin-skin or silicon construction around the perimeter? You would have to shave your perimeter so that it sticks to your skin. It could also be a thin-skin hairline which means you would use blue or red backed tape to adhere it. HTH!

I have had something very similar in the past and they need to be stuck onto the scalp to stay on. The material will be very fine I am guessing so I wouldn't recommend adding clips. The red or blue tape should adhere this to the scalp. It can stick to hair in some cases, it just hurts to pull it off.

That is a silicon front and looks like a mono top. I would have to see more of the wig to be sure. Not sure if that is back or front of the wig. Silicon sticks to a bare head best.
