Can AA be brought on by an allergy to dogs?

I bought a border terrier for my children in November 2014 ,all was well until feb when i startted losing my hair in small circles within 4 weeks 70% of my hair & beard had gone ,i went to the doctor's & also paid to see a specialist but was told it just happens & maybe i was stressed (im not at all) i told them the only thing that had changed in my life & environment was the introduction of a dog ,as a child i was never exposed to dogs in anyway but they just brushed it off saying it wouldn't be the dog ! Has anybody else had this problem? Can i be easily tested for this?

Hi there! I'd love someone who knows the answer to post it here for us dog lovers!! I can only say that I love my girl so much that I guess I'd have to let her wear all the hair if it meant being without her! :) good luck... Hope you find the answer ( but hope it's not your new best friend!)

Ive just had blood tests done so I'll keep you updated, ive been told by the kids the dogs going nowhere I'll have to move out if it is haha
