Biopsy

Has anyone ever had to have a biopsy for the diagnosis of alopecia. My daughter hairhasnt grown back in almost two years.

When the blood tests didn't indicate anything 'hormonal' going on, I was sent for a biopsy which confirmed FFA (Frontal Fibrosing Alopcia or Scarring Alopecia).

Did your hair grow back? I heard it want ever grow back.Are the areas real large?

No, with FFA hair won't ever grow back Kimmy.  Lost a good inch all around the frontal hairline from ear to ear.  My hairstyle, a short bob with a full fringe, hides the hairloss.
