Anyone using Wen hair products? Hairloss from Wen?

Wen.. he's slick..
He basically went into several hair forums and found out the key to what a lot of the long/healthy hair divas from all over the world had learned.
Co-washing. I've even posted about this a few times on this board. He learned through the hair divas that using a conditioner instead of shampoo on the hair and scalp was actually more healthier than washing with shampoo.
Women have been doing this for the last few decades and have been sharing it on hair care forums.
I believe that woman and many others are barking up the wrong tree on this one, rearding a "lawsuit". The only thing Wen's products does is simply moisturize the hair and scalp - just like any other simple conditioner.
The more natural the ingredients - the better it is for your hair.

It seems odd that there are so many people experiencing hair loss after using Wen. I wonder if there is a particular ingredient wreaking havoc in their systems. Maybe the fragrance or a preservative in the product.
Just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone here has alopecia and is using this product. They may want to stop using it and see if the hair returns.

Interesting how Chaz brags about his "hundreds of thousands of customers" yet has admitted to tens of thousands of hair loss complaints. (naturally, they will admit to as few as possible, but I can tell you it's far more than the 22,000 FDA uncovered last year) Would you use any product with a 10% chance of losing a significant amount of hair, possibly permanently? Of course not! I believe there is at least 10 for every one of those complaints. Their MO is to lie and get you off the phone believing you have a sudden medical problem. They actually try to sell you a different fragrance of their crap if you still have hair (and money) to lose!

One of my friends has used this product the results weren't as expected. She started to loose her hair in clumps thankfully she has very thick hair so it wasn't as noticeable.the results might differ for others, just sharing what I know about the product.

I've never used the product, but it seems to make the hair more "slick"
I can imagine the slickness combined with heat styling may cause the hair to become thinner.
Maybe those who use the wen products should dial down the temperature and frequency of heat styling.
Your thoughts?

I also had an experience with wEN and have had no re growth of lashes, brows, any body hair what-so-ever and it has,been months of non use. I too,have a legal representative in Texas that has accepted my case. Thank you so much for replying on this forum as I had all but given up hope that anyone else had issues with WEN.

PM me! I want to talk more about Wen! I'd like to know what formula of Wen you were using. Do you still have the bottle? I've heard coconut oil and castor oil can help the brows and lashes. Someone said they had regrowth when using coconut oil as eye makeup remover. anyway, please, lets chat, maybe we can help each other. My daughter's brows and lashes were the last to go, and first to come back, though maybe not all of her brows, and the bottom lashes are just beginning.

Wen is the reason I'm in Alopecia world. Never had any problems with hair loss before I started with it (at my hairdresser's recommendation). I wasn't losing hair in clumps, but I noticed more hair coming out each time I shampooed. Since I had thick, curly hair, I never combed or brushed it when it was dry, and I partially thought the thorough finger combing you do when using Wen might have made more come out when washing. Never thought it would be permanent. I noticed my hairline had moved back and then I developed folliculitis all through the front of my hair. I hadn't thought that Wen was causing it (why would anyone think that a shampoo/conditioner that's marketed to be great for your hair, especially curly hair), but after doing a Google search, I realized that had to be the reason. I stopped using it instantly, got some different treatments from 2 dermatologists and waited for it to grow back. No such luck, and my hairline continued receding. I finally went to a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss; she did a biopsy and confirmed that I have Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. I've been on antibiotics and topical steroids for nearly a year to stop the inflammation, but I can still feel random active spots. My hairline has gone back at least 2" all around; I feel like I look like Bozo when I wake up in the morning. I'm part of the lawsuit in Texas, too. I tell everyone about this horrible stuff, especially people with long, thick curly hair.

I was recently diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia, but when I mentioned using WEN shampoo, my doctors just gave me a blank look (then again I'm in an HMO versus having someone with real expertise in this area). I'm wondering if your doctors & lawyers were able to find evidence to support your case for FFA against WEN. I have to decide within a couple of weeks whether to take their piddly $25 tier one class action payout or try to garner medical evidence to support my case for the product causing my FFA. Any help you could lend would be greatly appreciated!
