Good day all.

I have been diagnosed with androgenic alopecia.

Have always had fine hair, but noticed hair thinning and disappearing rather rapidly this year.

I finally had the courage to discuss it with my doctor who did blood tests to find a cause. He also took a small bit of scalp for a biopsy and the result was androgenic alopecia.

What a depressing thought.

I bought a wig four days ago and find it "strange" to wear. Hopefully one becomes used to it.

Thank you for accepting me.

Welcome to the clubhouse! We have brownies! :D

Thank you for the welcome.

I have been reading the discussions and have come to the conclusion that we all have similar worries and concerns!

As if we are responsible for our hairloss!
