Hello,

First off, I wanted to say that reading through everyone's comments it's great to have so much support.

I'm a 32 year old male with Alopecia Barbae. This is the second time I have had it, and it's been going on for about a year and a half.

I'm getting married in a little over 2 months, and was curious if anyone has heard of anything or has any thoughts around minimizing it's appearance temporarily? I see a lot of talk about wigs and fake eyebrows, but I don't think I have seen anything for temporary facial hair. The problem is I have olive skin and dark hair, so even when I shave it's still very noticeable.

I consider myself lucky that it's confined to the face. I always try to put things in perspective, and it's non-life threatening so I am a very lucky guy.

Any tips before my wedding would be appreciated.

Thank you!

depending on the beard style u want...
am sure u can hide it easily with make up techniques. girls do it for eyebrows.
otherwise maybe u can use some kind of powder. i saw people with small bald patch use a powder to hide the hair thinning. I don't know the powder name, sorry.

good luck and congrats for the wedding

Thank you!
